Medication Policy 

In accordance with Board Policy No. 210, medication should be given before or after school hours, whenever possible. If, however, it is essential that your child receive medication during school hours, the medication will be administered under the following conditions: 

* All medication must be delivered to the health room or main office by a parent or guardian, NOT BY THE STUDENT

* No medication will be dispensed until the form Authorization for Medication During School Hours is completed and received by the school nurse. 

* All medication must be in the original pharmaceutical container and be plainly marked with the student’s name, name of the medication, dosage and time to be administered. Any medication left at the school after the date of the last prescribed dose will be discarded.
